went korea with my aunts and family over the new year. WINTER!! it's my third time flying in an aeroplane! and it's SQ flight and at T3!! so much better than tiger i can say. haha. our stay there is quite hetic but fun overall. we spent almost half of the time travelling in coach bus. 6-days trip. but wad i can say it's effectively 5 days. wear and strip is wad we did over there. cuz their heater is good. haha
here goes my korea trip:
DAY1 Singapore - Incheon (basically in the plane)

DAY2here we arrived at incheon airport. it's cold out there. -13 degrees celcius! freak. u speak with 'smoke'
at the airport.
2hr journey in coach to Spa Green Land!

our tour guide is very nice. like to joke alot. and he's called steven. along the way he told stories and history of the korean culture. also with our helpful cameraman, lax. (dunno his real spelling) he help almost everything else other than taking pics.

a realxing spa after a long flight journey is excellent! they call it
tang (soup). divided into male and female and mix. i've got a culture shock there. hmm. they walk there.. naked. haha. totally! and they bath side by side. ok la. only in the female side that i saw. the indoor was bubble spa. outdoor is super cold. the moment u open the door, u just wanna jump and scream cuz it's freaking cold out there. i managed to endure and jump into the outdoor pool. cooool. u wun want to come up the moment u get in. serious! cuz it takes courage to come up again! lol.
den head to some restaurant to have our lunch. it's something like hot plate thing. with veges mostly. their meat is like side dishes. u hardly see and find them. and there's alot of side dishes. and they keep refilling! fry them tgt with rice and u get fried rice. lol. but it's nice to eat something hot from the plate during winter. but something that's quite annoying is that their chopsticks and spoons are all metal... cold cold.... freezing alr...

den off to nami island in 1.5 hours coach. at the jetty there, took a 10 minutes boat ride there.
WINTER SONATA! i only knw it's bae yong jun... the aunty killer. nothing else. i dun really watch dramas. but it's a nice scene there anw. =D
it's cold!
we went there to see that two rows of trees...
another 2 hr to finally have our dinner at some place. I LOVE THE CHICKEN SOUP! and beansprout which i dun really like at all in the past. den to FLORA hotel and slp in tatami. count down to 2009.. when we are all drained.. haha.
DAY 3practically spend more than half the time on coach. this day is jam jam and jam. BIG JAM on roads.. cuz we going east side of korea. and it's new year.. ppl believe that to see the sunrise on new year and make a wish for family and health, it'll sort of come true.
After buffet breakfast, we went to Teddy Bear Farm. theres really lots of teddy bear displays!

small. im nt a fan of teddy bear but it's quite fun to see teddy bears of same size as u. nt mascot tho..
den lunch... still a pot over the fire.. with veges.
meat is side dish. haha! but there's fish too!
den jam to mt sorak! snows! but we didnt manage to see it snowing. the lakes were frozen! and the road is filled with snow. beautiful mountain!

by then it's going to be dinner time after that. jam all the way there to have our bbq dinner at abt 9pm lo. finally a meat dish! lol. i sounded like a carnivore. eat the bbq prok in cabbage leaves. woots!! simply delicious! im a vege hater.. but i go there.. i eat them all! nicest veges i ever tasted. den to oak valley holiday resort to rest. super big with 2 toilets, 2 rooms and a big living room with a kitchen.
DAY 4 - skii!
sianzzz x10000 cuz morning call was at 6am! means 5am in the morning in singapore time! we jumped up at 630am when uncle benny called and say we are going to be late. really... super tired. but the coach ride did save us a little after that.
Breakfast was buffet as usual. then we went to rent ski suit! we are all in red! like farrari team. lol.
I LOVE RED!off we go to ski!! it's the most fun part in this trip i can say!! it's quite tiring. but FUN!!!!
MElorh.. after finishing my slide and climbed up the beginner slope. i took out my hat cuz i was SWEATING!
Although it's quite scary at first, it's really an experience sliding down the slope! im lovin it!! The boots are SOOOO HEAVY! that i suffered from hangover for the rest of the days. my legs feel so heavy whenever they are not moving. But it's enjoyable! =DDD

LUNCH.
we all fight for a cup of noodle... for lunch. we had other things too la.

Head down to Yeoju outlets after that. cool!! alll branded stuff! burberry, coach, gucci, prada, nike, adidas... name it!! they have it! although there's huge discount everywhere, they are still inaffordable... to me at least.
SUPER DUPER COOL. i managed to get a GAP logo shirt for less than S$20!!
Seoul! here we come. im loving dongdaemum! (DONG DA MEN) it's like orchard in korea. shopping district. and their shopping centres open till the next day! 3am in the morning! open again at 10am. during spring and summer they open till 5am!. cool right??
we only have 1.5 hr to shop there. sadded... there's so many things to see.. so much to explore! but too bad we didnt have enough time. went in to doota. there's soo many levels. and the whole of lv 1 and 2 are alllllllll female apparels. mostly winter apparels. but they are all so fashionable. if nt for singapore's weather i'll get them all! 100x of far east plaza. whole of 3rd lv men's apparels! 4th lv.. whole of bling blings! 5ths - bags and shoes. 6th - kids' apparels!!!!! basement have also. all those japalang stores and food. their fashion there is woots. definitely cant compare with singapore =P the girls are all pretty dressed up despite the cold weather. boots. coats. skirts. tights. gloves. beanies. make ups. wooo! beautiful!

den we had ginseng chicken for dinner and head back to hotel. tired. it's super dry there. itch and cracks all come to ur body. spammed moisturisers, creams and lip balm.
DAY 5 - a extremely busy day.
Morning call at 630am. didnt slp well cuz i coughed the whole night.. bodyache from skiing the day before. haha.
Breakfast was buffet at some chinese restaurant. Didnt really like it compared to the previous days.
Went to see Korean Ginseng (gao li ren sheng) interesting details and benefits.
Den to 1st Shop Coffee Prince shooting scene. some cafe but cuz it's too early it's not open yet! doesnt really look very nice from outside.

Lunch had something like pan fry thing. pepper lunch vege hot pot.. lol. i name that. so touched when meat is finally served.
along the way went to THE FACE SHOP. lol which i spent majority of my assets there....
den to KIMCHI SCHOOL!! haha. where we learn how to make kimchi.
den we dressed up in korean costume and take pics.

went to the National Folklore Museum. foreign countries' history is always more interesting than ur own. haha. the 'funny' cultures the others have that change and change to wad is so universal now. =D
im in the king's palace. lol!!
on our way went to SevenLuck casino which i cant enter.. cuz im still young. lol.
last station -
LOTTE WORLD! =DDD
jojo and shean's favourite! and one of mine too. we were given less than 3 hours and only given 3 rides. luckily we managed to use almost all the rides.. cuz the queue is VERY VERY VERY LONG. freaking long that a 5 minutes monorail ride takes 1 hour to ur turn. and all the others were also long queue... but luckily my aunts went to queue while the uncles, two kids and me went to have some fun. thank them for their tired work. tried going outdoor but to our dismay, they are all closed! went back in again and queue up for more rides... wait lo. haha but fun overall! =DD
i find this cage super cute.. we are all locked in there, like some monsters. yes im one. LOL!
DAY 6 - BYE KOREA!

shean is so sweet! if my daddy brings me to korea.. i'll make a bigger and nicer one. haha. if that ever happens.
on the way went to some dong cong xia cao place... some herbs which grow on the insect. the ppl there all so healthy cuz they got so many health and beauty product. super expensive lo. i dun have enough to buy any. haha. just go there see see.
den down to some street (shinchon ladies' street if im not wrong) to shop! haha. another shopping place. this one like bugis street...?? u'll get lost cuz the street is criss-crossed! ok la. maybe i'm just not very roadwise. i've got bad sense of direction. theres alot of rojak stores. restaurants to apparels to convenient stores.

a snack street stall! and that spiral thing is potato. bring it to deep fry and it taste super nice with sprinkled chilli powder. or spice powder.. those potato chip spicy flavour thing la!
as expected, we got lost on our way back.. but luckily i remembered the dunkin donuts stall.. if not i'll never get back.
FINALLY,
back to the airport.. going home!
